Happy New Year! Resolutions are all the rage this time of year. From health and fitness to personal and career goals, chances are you’re resolving to make some sort of change in 2019. So, let us be among the first to say: “Go you! We believe in you!” Change, while difficult, is almost always rewarding. With that being said, we’d like to take this opportunity to offer up a 2019 challenge.   2. Check your tire pressure. Tires need special attention during the winter to keep them performing safely. Plus, the driving with the correct tire pressure will improve your gas mileage and extend the life of your tire. Refer to the sticker on the inside of your driver’s door and add air as needed.
  3. Get a car wash. Don’t wait for a pedestrian to write “wash me” in the dust layers on your vehicle windows, resolve to keep your VEHICLE’S body in tip-top shape. Winter road dirt, snow, ice, and salt can lead to rust and corrosion and an occasional car wash goes a long way in protecting your vehicle’s exterior.
  4. Keep the interior clean. Spilled drinks, food crumbs, dirt, and mud make a car look and smell bad. We recommend tossing your trash while filling up with gas AND taking the time to use one of our FREE high powered vacuums with every oil change!
  5. Replace your windshield wipers. It’s easy to forget about wipers, but even the best show wear and tear in the winter. If your wipers are cracked, dried out, smearing, or screeching, it’s time for a replacement!
